Julius is a man cloaked not just in robes, but in silence, shadow, and seething purpose. He never shows his face, always hidden behind a blackened mask or hood, his voice echoing like a low, rolling storm. Some whisper that he has no face left only scorched flesh and vengeance. Others say he hides it to sever the last link to the boy who once begged for help and was ignored.He speaks rarely, but when he does, his words are razor-sharp, cutting through lies and sentiment with brutal clarity. To Julius, emotions are distractions, except for wrath that, he has learned to channel into raw magical power. He is methodical, surgical in his destruction, not a wild flame but a controlled inferno.Though outwardly cold and composed, he harbors a burning conviction. He is not cruel for cruelty’s sake; he simply believes that mercy and compassion are luxuries in a world built on corruption. Julius was born in the lower districts of Ul'dah, the son of modest traders barely scraping by in the shadow of the city's gilded excess. Life was difficult, but it was honest until it was stolen from him.One night, his parents were caught in the crossfire of a brutal shakedown orchestrated by corrupt Brass Blades. When the smoke cleared, the officers simply glanced at the bloodied boy and muttered, "Sorry kid, wrong place, wrong time." With that, they turned their backs on the child they'd orphaned. Julius never forgot their faces nor the bitter taste of helplessness.Orphaned and fueled by rage, Julius survived on the streets by sheer will and a growing, latent magical talent. The Thaumaturge's Guild found him in his early teens, drawn by the raw, volatile power he displayed. They saw potential he saw a means to an end.Though he studied their teachings, Julius never bought into the balance they preached. To him, the world didn’t need balance. It needed to be burned down and rebuilt from the ashes. Order, law, nation, and guild they were all just different faces of the same rot. In secret, he delved deeper into forbidden magicks, walking the perilous path of the Black Mage. Julius doesn't seek power for its own sake he seeks to erase the lie of stability, to tear down the rotted foundations of the world and help shape what comes after.
